Medical Spa Services and COVID19: What You Should Know

Today, you can’t go anywhere without facing the repercussions of COVID-19. As you adjust to everyday life by wearing a mask, social distancing, and working from home, you might feel like your whole world has been flipped upside down. Shifting to this new way of life to stay safe during the pandemic has not been easy for anyone.

At Anushka Med Spa, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, we put the safety and well-being of our patients first and foremost. We’re here to share some of the safety measures we’ve taken to protect you during your next procedure.

Everyone must wear a mask

We politely advise everyone to wear a mask or face shield and wear it properly over their nose. This is suggested by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to stop respiratory droplets from entering the air and being passed on to one another. Anyone who doesn’t follow this rule will be refused service.

You may not remove your mask at any time unless instructed to do so by your skincare technician. We understand some services cannot be completed while wearing a mask. This includes services like lip fillers, laser skin rejuvenation, and medical peels. For these services, you are still required to wear your mask before and after your procedure.

Sanitation after every patient

In April, Florida governor Ron DeSantis advised a stay-at-home order so we were forced to close our doors. During the six weeks we were closed, we sanitized the entire building everywhere from high traffic areas to hard-to-reach areas. 

To help minimize transmission now that we’re open, we’ve scheduled a 15-minute window before and after every appointment. After every patient leaves, we sanitize our service rooms along with the door handles and door surfaces. We take our sanitation measures very seriously. Not only do we want to protect you, but we also want to protect our employees. 

Your temperature is taken

All persons who enter our front door must have their temperature taken. You must display a healthy temperature to proceed with your scheduled service. You will also be asked to complete a quick questionnaire on your phone to ensure you're at a low risk of spreading the virus. Anyone who has traveled from the Northeast United States or to California will not be able to enter our building for seven days. 

Our staff is randomly tested

Every single one of our employees has undergone a COVID-19 test. We continue to randomly test our staff to promote a healthy environment for you. If any employee has even the slightest chance of being exposed to the virus, they’re placed on an automatic 14-day quarantine.

While our world continues to change in response to the pandemic, we’re changing our practices to best suit you. We understand that not everyone may be comfortable coming in for a service during COVID-19, but we want to assure you we are doing everything we can to provide a safe environment for you.
